This painting depicts a windswept juniper tree. These hardy trees can grow in desolate landscapes enduring extreme conditions such as strong winds, cold … this affects their growth, often with the incessant wind eventually grow almost parallel to the ground. It is a metaphor of the struggle for adaptation and survival in difficult times.
